Description:
Salicylic Acid is white crystal or crystal powders,no chemical changes in the air.Atmospherically sublimation temperature is over 76ºC.Easily to decarboxylate and change into phenol and dioxide when heated atmospherically,and its aqueous solution appears acid reaction,becomes purple with FeCL3.Slightly dissolves in water but dissolves in boiling water easily.Dissolves in the ethanol or ether and slightly soluble in chloroform.

1.Fluorescence indicator, complexing indicator.

7.Used to prepare for synthetic spices such as methyl salicylate and ethyl salicylate. Used to prepare for direct dyestuff and acid dyestuff in dyestuff industry. Also be used as anticoke agent and disinfectant for rubber.
