Performance

White and odorless powder; slightly hygroscopic; hardly soluble in water and almost insoluble in Ethanol. When heated to 100ºC, it will lose crystal water gradually; as heated to 120ºC, the crystal will lose all of its crystal water.

Uses

In food industry, it is used as chelating agent, buffer, coagulant, and calcareous intensifying agent, mainly applied to dairy product, jam, cold drink, flour, cake, and so on.

Storage and transport

It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse and kept away from moisture, heat and poisonous substances. Handled with care, so as to avoid damage to packing bags.
