Description:
Potassium citrate (also known as tripotassium citrate) is a potassium salt of citric acid with the molecular formula K3C6H5O7. It is a white, hygroscopic crystalline powder. It is odorless with a saline taste.
Applications:
Food industry
 As acidity regulator, stabilizer and coagulant, quality improver, etc. Potassium citrate as an acidic flavoring: used in canning, fruit juice, wine and confectionery
Pharmaceutical industry
Potassium citrate is the most commonly used drug to prevent calculi. Potassium citrate prevents body joint pain and so on
Agriculture
It can be made into efficient compound fertilizer
Industry
 Potassium citrate has a washing effect because it prevents contaminants from sticking to the fabric. It is commonly used in the textile industry.Also used for decoloring.
