This product is a non-halogen environmental friendly fire retardant with the structure of phosphor and Nitrogen, this product has high degree of polymerization, nice heat stability and lower hygroscopicity. Ammonium polyphosphate is a kind of polyphosphate containing N and P, referred to as APP for short. According to the degree of polymerization, it can be divided into three types: oligomerization, middle polymerization and high polymerization. When the degree of polymerization is below 20, it is called oligomer, which is water-soluble; when the degree of polymerization is above 50, it is called high polymer, which can be used as flame retardant. In 1980s, considering the factors such as price and cost, oligomeric water-soluble APP was mainly used for flame retardant of cellulose materials such as paper and wood. Ammonium polyphosphate with high polymerization degree is widely used in intumescent fireproof coatings, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, epoxy resin, rubber products, fiberboard and dry powder fire extinguishing agent, etc. It is a safe and efficient nitrogen-phosphorus non-halogen smoke suppression flame retardant.
